Google PageRank (PR) is a numeric value that is used by Google to determine the importance of any page on the web. Although, it isn’t the only factor that Google uses to rank pages, but no doubt it is an important one when it comes to determining the search engine rankings of any page. According to Google, when one page links to another page, it is in fact voting for that page. The more the number of votes for any particular page, the more important the page must be. Also, the PR of the page that is voting for any page determines the worth of the vote itself.
